To increase the proficiency of piping design process at the different stages/levels of large industrial units piping design, besides sufficient relevant knowledge based on proficiency, experience, and comprehensiveness of designers and specialists, regarding the nature of piping design, the emptiness of the comprehensive and critique vision on different section such as design, providing, installing and implementation and running of industrial units piping and correlation with other related units, technically, timing and sequence are felt. It could be said that this requires adopting a comprehensive platform concerning preventive vision regarding utilization of previous knowledge and experiences, considering both internal or external effective items of organization integrated and simultaneous. In other words, implementation of related sections that are subsets of the Integrated management system (IMS).
The implementation of risk-based thinking is comprehensive and inclusive and one of the most important subjects that consist of detailed sections in a vast area in standards such as ISO9001 and the scope of project management knowledge. Moreover, the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has published a standard titled ISO31000 for implementation in organizations for risk management specialized standard. Somehow, in all these standards and areas of knowledge, there is RBT along with the cycle of PDCA (plan, do, check, and action) with a process approach blended in all activities and levels of planning and systemization, including four main parts shown in this report. RBT is essential because it enables the organization to determine and adopt appropriate procedures to identify factors that can lead to deviations from the planned results of the processes, to adopt preventive measures to minimize the adverse and inhibiting effects and to take advantage of opportunities.
